What you can do today

  • Upload or paste statement and ledger CSV files using the documented reference, date, amount and currency columns.
  • Record the supplier/account, period, currency and opening/closing statement balance with immutable input snapshots.
  • Match exact records and retain missing, duplicate, date, amount and balance discrepancies.
  • Save review notes with revision checks and explicitly approve a report, including acknowledged unresolved exceptions.
  • Export CSV or JSON with source rows, checks and review status; reopen saved runs or inspect the synthetic sample.

Review a month-end supplier statement

Load the statement and the ledger export for the same account and period. Inspect exact matches, explain unmatched invoices or credits, check the balance difference and export the reviewed report. Every unresolved difference remains in the output.

Supported scope and limits

  • This first version accepts structured CSV inputs. Automatic PDF statement extraction is not available.
  • Matching is exact and bounded. Partial payments, grouped settlements, ambiguous identifiers and differing conventions require review.
  • An approved report with exceptions remains labeled as such. Approval does not make unresolved differences disappear.
  • The workflow does not post transactions or release payments; arithmetic agreement does not prove completeness or accounting correctness.

Planned extensions

  • Qualified statement PDF extraction with row-level source evidence.
  • Reviewed supplier/account mappings and explicit matching tolerances.
  • Partial-payment and grouped-allocation rules with separate evaluation.
  • Authorized accounting connectors with delivery receipts and reconciliation.

How to check the result

  • Confirm the files cover the same supplier, account, currency and reporting period.
  • Use the documented signed-amount convention and check opening and closing balances.
  • Inspect duplicate references, partial payments and missing records before approval.
  • Retain unresolved differences in the reviewed report.
