A synthetic invoice you can check

This is a ParseMill-created CC0 supplier invoice, not a customer document. It has four aligned native-text rows under Item, Description, Quantity, Price, Amount. The public output is precomputed, not a new extraction; opening this page does not process a file or create an account.

The extracted line items

Four line-item rows, one source page. These are the literal native-parser output strings from the downloadable synthetic invoice. This is precomputed, not a new extraction.

Check the copper-pipe row against its source

Open page 1 and find Item 00104. Check Quantity 12, Price 18.50 and Amount 222.00. Leading zeros and decimal strings remain unchanged. The JSON and workbook Sources sheet contain individual word references and coordinates; those references still require your review.

The PDF’s invoice number, date, tax and total are outside this line-item schema. The product does not calculate or reconcile invoice totals. Footer and table-boundary warnings remain in the Exceptions sheet.

A small acceptance check you can repeat

  1. Rows: compare all four source line items with all four output rows. A blank or additional row would change the result.
  2. Identifiers: check that 00104 still has its leading zeros. Item identifiers are text, even when they contain only digits.
  3. Decimals and zero: preserve 18.50, 222.00 and the explicit delivery amount 0.00. Do not substitute a missing field for zero.
  4. Source: follow a row’s page link and compare the raw fields with their visible column positions. The signed-in review screen also highlights the referenced source words.
  5. Business check: the four printed amounts add to 516.00. This is a check you can reproduce for this synthetic fixture. ParseMill does not perform automatic invoice reconciliation, tax validation or approval.

All extracted cells begin unreviewed. An unflagged cell has not been verified by a person, and a successful job does not establish that an invoice is complete or correct.

What this example does and does not demonstrate

This one small native-text invoice demonstrates a supported table shape, source-backed review and downloadable outputs. It does not establish a general invoice accuracy rate, correction time or performance on real supplier files.

Scans require OCR, which is not available here. Wrapped descriptions, merged headers and tables without matching column labels can lose information or produce no rows. The executed evaluation publishes failures as well as supported fixtures. Invoice dates, supplier addresses, tax rules and currency are not part of this line-item extraction.

The provenance record identifies the synthetic source, parser version, extraction time and file hashes. Sample downloads are evidence assets, not exports from your private workspace.

Run the workflow, then bring a suitable invoice

Start the invoice workflow to keep the same columns and review steps. In an account with processing access, “Run the sample invoice” executes a new sample job. Then upload one suitable invoice, review its source fields, export the result and save your column set for next time.
